My latest catch on ultralight.

Post by Alnorito »

Caugh this baby sat.One of the reason i didn't make it back on time.Saw a million tails, they where everywhere. But all i did was spooked them. Some times i was sorroundrd by them. Then one the way back i started throwing a 1/16 jig head with a 1 1/2 curly tail.
And bammm. This baby;everytime it went for a run and it did many times i could''t help but look at the spool.Only had 60 yards of 6lb mono.

Believe me,it was freaking great. :D

Ups;almost forgot.I was pretty fat 7lb.

You sure work magic with those jig heads.

Thanks guys.Just wish i had more experience with those tailing fish.I bet someone with more patience like chuck would have done better.Or one with a fly rod.
It's ok.I never been a fan of Ft De Soto but after seing so many reds,i will definetly go back.

I saw last year a guy fight and land a 34" red on Joe island. He show me the fly and told me he was using 10lb leader.I just think that this ultralight will help me get some feeling and practice for when my fly rod arrive next month.
