Well, I went to Bill Jackson's today and I tried on some Crocs. They were very light and airy but I didn't feel that "oh so comfortable" feeling that you all are talking about. Do you have to wear them for a while before you get that feeling??? I'm still considering getting some because they were light and airy and can be worn in a lot of situations but I would like some input on the comfort thing from some REAL men who wear them..... Davey Wavey???? Toddle??? Rik???? Any others who are willing.......

I voted for yes, but not around pf guys. I recently spent a weekend fishing with a group of pf guysand left the crocs at home. I have had them for about two years now. I use them mostly for yard work. I find them uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time when they are wet. My girlfriend bought me a green pair at Floriday Bay Outfitters the day I bought a second kayak for the stable (T-140).
I wore them camping with a group of pf guys shortly after getting them. Shallow Minded took a bunch of shiat for wearing his, but noone said anything about mine. I think they were being nice because my girlfriend was with me. They could have had an easy time with me because she was wearing a blue pair.
They may be ugly and if you have questions about your own sexuality you might think them girly. However, they are comfortable when dry and convenient as heck.

I have now voted, No Not Yet. I am an old Birkenstock guy, and I took tons of shiate for wearing those for years. Actually, I still take some shiate for wearing Birkenstocks now that I think about it. I even remember when Flip Flops or whatever you want to call them were not cool either, but I wear them as well. I even have a pair of Clarks Clog like shoes, look like biker boots when you have jeans on. So I guess you never know. But I will not go see Brokeback Mountain.

Flip flops are the thin rubber flats with the rubber or plastic thin strap that run through the sole ending in in circular disks that keep the on the sole. Mostly worn by large older women carrying rolling pins with curlers in thier hair and picking up shells on the beach. Commonly bought at K-Mart or Dollar general store not at a Fancy store like Wal-Mart (But Sam's Clubs & COSCO carry them in packs of 10 pairs)Flip Flops
Slaps or Deckers have ALWAYS been cool and no one that was cool would EVER call them flip-flops!

The other day as I was rounding the corner inside Basspro... a glow caught the corner of my eye. I looked over and it was a multicolor display stand of Crocs. P-f.com quickly races through my mind... I couldn't help myself with a zombie like walk I approach them. All the reds yellows blue hues... was a overwhelming. I reached out and touched a yellow one to see how the sole felt.. Thoughts of trying one on came over me(hopefully nobody was looking) but was quickly interrupted by an attractive sales girls saying "Can I help you find something sir? "
..... "ummm.. no thanks .. just looking." I murmured and slowly shuffled off...
I have resisted temptation for yet another day..
