Slow bite Friday

Post by nemo327 »

Launched crack of dawn at Dunedin Causeway. Caught 1/2 dozen pinfish for bait the trail logic kayak cart made launching over the rocks a snap. It adjusts to rocks and a 12 inch drop with ease. I would have fewer battle scars on the hull if I owned one years ago. Went to my favorite flats threw Mirrodine, and DOA shrimp for 4 hours also soaking 2 inch pin fish on a cork. I only got half-hearted taps on my lures. Nothing on the pin fish. I did see a 5' shark 1 24 inch wingtip to wingtip ray. While drifting I saw 2 upper slot reds. I haven't a clue why the bite was off. When this happens I blame Bush, global warming (now climate change) Haliburton and republicans. None really involved but they get blame anyway..

I was down in Sarasota Bay Friday and it was very slooooow down there to. I like you logic on blaming those guys so I am going to go with that too.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.
