1970 Glass makeover

My wife's uncle gave me an old 1970 glass spinning rod. I think it had been a surf rod but it was only about 8 ft long which was perfect for me to use in the my Tarpon 14. I gave it to a guy up here in Cincinnati and here is what I got back.
These are the before and after of course. He removed the old paint, replaced the guides and flipped it to a casting rod. I will be in Fort Desoto next week and can't wait to use it.
