PFTS #3 will be held Decmber 14, 2013 in the area south of the Manatee River

DATE: December 14, 2013

LOCATION: South of Manatee River

SIGN IN TIME: 6:15 a.m. to 6:45 a.m.

SIGN IN LOCATION: Palma Sola Causeway Park, 8500 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34209
LAUNCH / FISHING TIME: 7:00 a.m. and not a second before.

FORMAT: You may bring a maximum of 3 fishing rods. You can not bring any lures, hooks, jig heads, etc. with you. You can only use what is provided at the morning sign in.

POINTS FORMAT: The scoring will be the inches of ONE redfish plus the inches of ONE trout. The number of spots on one side of one redfish (may be the same redfish entered for inches) will be the tie breaker. Any angler that brings a redfish or trout back to the Pic n' Sip will get 5 points. Read on, you'll see why.

LURES: LOGIC LURES will be supplying each angler with a bag of Plastix, a Scented Tandem Rig and a package of Wiggly Jiggly jig heads. The bait color you receive will be different from what is shown below.

JUDGING CUT OFF TIME IS 1400 hours. 2:00 pm.

COST: $10 per angler. Exact change required at sign in, please.

PIC N' SIP: Palma Sola Causeway Park, 8500 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, FL 34209. Our Pic n' Sip will be at the sign in location where we will have a fish fry using the fish caught during the event. We'll have fryers there. This will be BYOB. Adult beverages are allowed along the causeway. More about the fish fry will follow as we get closer to the date.

BOUNDARY: - The northern boundary is a line from the gulf in the pass just north of Anna Maria Island and then down the center of the Manatee River to I-75. The east boundary is I-75. There is no southern boundary.
