Milk Crate: The Best Storage Option for Gear?

Post by MLB01 »

Anyone own the Blackpak from YakAttack? Is this better than a standard milk crate ? Are their other options to store your gear and rods in your yak beside the milk crate? Seems like the milk crate is popular for kayak fishing.

Thanks

Rescue a milk crate from numerous places and then build your own. No way would I pay $125 for that.

A thought for the milk crate.
Mount the rod holders on port or starboard sides of crate or arear. Rod holders mounted on the forward end can make it hard to reach 'through the rods' and pull other gear back up to you.
