One Fly Tournament July 12th
Re: One Fly Tournament July 12th
Had no clue Spanish mackerel, jack crevalle and ladyfish are "trash fish." What a derogatory label for any fish.

So, let me get this straight: a Largemouth Bass is worth 3 TIMES AS MANY POINTS as a Permit? Seems legit.
You could give fly anglers an entire week to try to catch all the species under the "By-Catch" category and it still probably wouldn't happen.

It's hard to specifically target permit in the tampa bay area. Most likely you will run into them when targeting the pomps. That's why they are in that category. It's a fun tournament. I added bass in it because it levels the playing field for those people who can't target tarpon. Although you can fish "anywhere." Land locked fish do count.
