Over the weekend I got a day off, with everything else that had to be done only had a couple hours Fishing.
Temp 75 - 80 degrees, Heavy overcast with 30% chance of Rain
Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge has a few ponds that can be easily accessed, Fleetwood Pond being the easiest. There is a Fishing/Bird Watching Pier so off I go.

Had a few "Roll Overs" but seemed nothing large enough to take "CJ's Freaky Frog" .... then against some Lilly Pads

Released and Hung around for a several more casts, nothing doing after that
Hopefully this weekend I can get the Kayak out on the "Canoe Trail" and give a better report, well at least some more Fish Photos!

Nice bass on a green popper.

The LM bass are taking similar bugs here in SW Florida.

Interesting. My son lives in Lewes, DE. He is a pretty avid fisherman. I will have to ask him if he has been to that area.

Most of the locals know the better spots, some will go to Public Ponds, but it seems they have access to more private water. With less pressure probably better Fishing. Haven't had another chance since. Will update when and if!
