Seat Removal

Anyone have an idea how to remove one of the foam kayak seats that stick directly to the kayak? I have on that is several years old and it is starting to chip. I was wondering if a heat gun might make the adhesive release.

I would NOT use a heat gun. It will warp your kayak. Try scrapping it off the best you can then follow it up with some Goo Gone. That might work. Good luck.
