TRANSDUCER MOUNTED TO Native Watercraft PROPEL??

Post by UltimateBobWPB »

I was watching some YouTube videos of transducers mounted to the lower unit of trolling motors. Of course they have more area to attach to but just wondering if anyone has done a DIY job that might be successful on a Native Watercraft Mariner Multisport PROPEL . Right now I have a DIY piece of 1 inch flat stock aluminum that I han over the side with the transducer for a Hummingbird 170 bolted to. It works ok, I just lower it and raise it (when I remember) as I need to when launching and beaching. Only cost a few dollars in materian and seems to do everything the $50 RAM arms, etc would do. Been toying with going through hull and was researching videos when I came across the trolling motor mounts. Any feedback or suggestions welcomed.
