Ok, this has pissed me off long enough. If I offend anyone here than so be it.

It is just effin rude and inconsiderate to not show up at the pic-n-sip. I know there are one, maybe two, at each event that have something come up that prevents them from attending, I get that. For those who decide, "oh, I didn't catch anything" and just not show is damn rude and childish. I can guarantee you that of the close to 15 that did not show yesterday if you had caught something your ass would be there. I can easily go through the tokens and list and know who did not show, but I am not going to waste my time with that. We talked about a $5 token deposit but that only inconveniences the ones that show support for their fellow tournament anglers.

Showing up supports your fellow tournament anglers who battled the same wind you did, it shows support to the sponsors who gave you free lures to fish with and support of the establishment who is nice enough to let 40 fisherman gather and steal their space.

In the future think twice about ditching the fun part. Show some support and come out and shake hands. It shows a lot more class than running home.

Very true Mike, this is a broken record. But from the many who help put all of these together it is bothersome. We put forth a lot of effort to make these happen and guys just can't be bothered to show up.

I had to take "She who must be Obeyed" out to eat almost as soon as I got home, but I did make an appearance, just cause!

Only caught two "scoring" fish but I'll do it again, Thanks!

Had 3 Long Rods in the truck, no "Spinners" so yes I threw the flies all day, wind assisted casting! Just saw that I had a chance of placing for a Prize, guess it hurts to be Stupid!
No Worries! I'm signing up for the next one, with a bit more practice I might add!

First time I havent shown up, but had a prior engagement, and no I still wouldnt have shown up if I had a winning combo, though evidently I did So give a little credit to those who come and fish anyway even though they know they cant make the awards.
