Spring Panfish
Spring Panfish
Crappie or Specs - anyone catching them from a kayak?
Be thankful for every day and especially those fine days on the water
Re: Spring Panfish
Have not been out in freshwater since my last report. But I think I have a hall pass for monday morning and I am trying to figure where to go.
Now that you mention specks, I am thinking of changing my original intent to go to Bullfrog creek. Maybe Teneroc or Lake Manatee is on the radar.

Re: Spring Panfish
Funny thing happened the other day when I was fly fishing the Manatee River with Patrick O'Conner. We were catching some big bluegill and channel catfish when I said, "I've never caught a speckled perch (crappie) in here, but this would be the spot."
Next cast, he hooks and lands a speck!
