Great fall action

Post by Gibby3474 »

Things were really going great. I'm hoping this cold will only slow it down a little.

Prior to the cold, we were doing well on redfish, snook, trout, pompano, jacks and bluefish. In fact, fishing was just plain hot around Sarasota Bay.

We've been getting trout to 6 pounds -- mostly on MirrOlure MirrOdines. Best lure for redfish has been a MirrOlure Little John on a 1/16-ounce jig head.

Bluefish are hitting most anything, but I won't cast a plug at them! Blues are running from 3 to 6 pounds.

Awesome Fish Steve, great report! If you don't mind me asking...what is your favorite color for the Lil Johns?

Ken,
It doesn't really seem to matter. I do well on pink, chartreuse, watermelon with red flakes, gold. I think that they're scented helps the fish home in on them.
