Chugging Spook

Post by krash »

I'm sure you are, so who ever has tried the new Chug'n Spook please report what ya think.

I used to use, long ago, the original Chugger Spook in black with the skeltal bone pattern but it was a popper type lure, the new one is a chugging walker.

I agree, its not a slat water hook model yet, but changing out hooks for stronger galvanized ones is a good idea.

I looked at them at the tackle shop. I will buy one when it comes in a jr size. I don't throw a full size spook.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I am with Manning and seldom throw a full size Mirror Lure or Spook.

I have never done as well on reds as the gold spoon does, but wow when they hit a topwater.
