Spook Jr. saves the lives of nearly 2 dozen shrimp Sunday.
My nephew Chase aka: Cborden89, his girlfriend Brit and I set out out early Sunday morning. I got Chase using lures now after the past few outings and him catching some nice fish with them. This trip his girlfriend joined us and after she fed the Pinfish two or three shrimp she tied on a Spook Jr. and began casting. Wasn't long, the Trout started striking and she was getting really excited with each pop they took at the lure . After a few more casts we hear her yell because something with much more aggression struck at her lure three or four times and then it happened, FISH ON!!! Drag pulling, bent rod and she was yelling with great excitement. Brit said, "I think it's a Snook... a BIG one!" It tail walked and thrashed it's head for her and after a good fight here's she is with her first Snook and first fish on a lure. It measured 26.5 inches.
Right after a few pictures were taken she released all the shrimp! Chase said, "she'll be tossing a lure from now on".

We all caught some nice fish and had a great day on the water. 3 Reds, 3 Snook, lots of Trout and even a nice Flounder.
