At Bishop's Harbor I caught
2 Snook 14" and 12"
1 Red 16"
3 trout the biggest was 11.5"
1 Flounder 15 to 16"
1 ladyfish
1 Pinfish

It felt good to catch a Slam by 9:30am, but could not catch any bigger fish the rest of the day

Used a Doa shrimp set up weedless
and a Mirrodine

Every time I have fished this area, the results have been good. Last year I caught 7 different species of fish there. This year, I used a spook jr & a silver spoon (which I lost at 8:45 with no red yet) and this was my count on the day:
Snook caught: 3
Snook lost: 3
Reds caught:1
Reds lost:2
Trout caught: 6
Even hooked a nice Jack, but all the fish that count were under 18"

All in all, it was a great day, but I can't remember losing that many fish in 1 day........ ever

Yeah, we spent a good part of the day fishing near each other, but I didn't find a nice snook like your's anywhere. :thumbright: :salute: :thumbright: :salute:

Snook caught: 1 = 17"
Reds missed: 2
Trout caught: 8-10 = 12" to 18" range
Jack: 1

If I would have landed that red my small slam would have been by 7:45
Oh well maybe next time :thumbright: .

Indeed. Turned the corner to catch a red out of MY HOLE and there was an interloper smack in the middle of it!
