Dead calm and low tides

Add in overcast and it's an evening made for the long rod. Gonna go see if there are some mudders on the prowl for a dashboard shrimp!

Well there was a redfish in this picture, I thought.

They were out in force tonight before I got chased off by a storm. I pulled the hook on a couple others. The strikes are truly explosive!

It won't be long before you learn that true fly fishermen always hold their rod in their mouth when taking pics.

The winds aren't as light and the tide ain't as low but I gots ta go again. Back to Callaghan Creek!
