I said three because it asks on a "normal" day, but I at times will take 5. It really depends on what area I'm fishing. And if I feel like flailing around with the fly rod. I have a scotty triple mount up front, and 2 rod holders on my seat. Most people think it's a little excessive, but when you explain that you are not still fishing with live or dead bait, and that you are actively "hunting" through constantly changing depth and structure, they usually agree that it makes more sense to carry rods rigged with different lures than to keep cutting and re-tying.

Hey Offlander,

Going stir crazy from not being able to get out on the water? Haven't had someone dig around in the 'archives' like you've been doing.
