The guy I fished with is fanatical about going early. When he says he'll meet you there at 6:45, that means he will have arrived at 6:15 and be standing there at the water's edge tapping his toe impatiently at 6:45.
Can't complain too much about it today, though. I'd caught a nice trout on my third cast right about 6:45.
However, no matter how many times I slam the alarm clock off at 5 a.m., lay there and think of good excuses not to go cuz I just don't want to get my lazy ass out of bed, the absolute best place to be when the sun is coming up is on the water. There's just something magical about that hour of sunrise even if you aren't catching fish. Real easy to have the fully relaxed, not a problem in the world feeling then.

The CRB Trip.....
Went straight out to the flats first......caught me some trout....
Then went into dem mangroves.....
Small catches but so much better than work!
