PFTS #3 Info needed

If you were in charge and you could pick the one lure we are going to fish with all day what would you choose?

Remember you have to fish with it all day also.

December may not be the best time of the year to throw a spook all day.......

1. Spook Jr. in Bone or Bone/Slv I throw it all year effectively.
2. DOA Golden Brim shadtails on the Owner Twist N lock 1/4/oz or the Slayers ...December should be perfect

UTB i would say the Gold Dart on a 1/8 or 1/16 weedless hook my preference would be the slayer weedles hooks or the texas shad color we had. The ? is how many will be fishing these areas until the tourney

We did a topwater OLC a few years back, throwing a topwater only from 7AM to 1PM is a long damn day. Your wrist will eventually feel like it is going to fall off.

Strike King glass minnow. Very soft for ALOT of action, but nearly indestructible.

The past couple of years we had low tides and no water to fish in. We are going to have plenty of water this year.

Mirrolure Mirrolip crankbait!
Mirrodine
Or how about an old school throwback... In the 50's & 60's upper tampa bay was a hot spot for local anglers that used to use the classic 52M for trout and reds but those damn soap fish used to eat up their baits, too.
Aquadream spoon
SillyWilly jigs (Hell yeah! I like that idea!)
Paddles - they aren't just for the bedroom anymore.

D.O.A. Gold Rush (#415) shad tail on a weedless 1/8 jighead, or Twistlock/Slayer Inc. weighted weedless hook.

--or--

Gold Dart rigged the same way.

A lot of suggestions for using weedless stuff. There isn't all that much grass north of the CCC. For those that are going to fish the creeks, there will be a pretty good outgoing tide, so a jighead of at least 1/8 - 1/4 oz will be necessary to get a plastic down.

A topwater would work well, but like Todd said, throwing one all day will lead to arm and elbow problems for us old guys.
