Lost the rotary tension screw for my traveler ages ago. Want to replace it, but Renzetti charges $15 for shipping. Yeah, I know. F-that.
Anybody have one, knows someone with one to spare, knows where to puchase one, please let me know.

Insane. It can't cost much more than that to drive over there. I cannot help since mine is so old it has no rotary tension screw. Sorry.

Try calling Allen Wyatt at Andy Thornal in Winter Haven; 800-499-9890. He may even have one in stock.

You may want to check to see if there's a local "nut and bolt" business. You may get lucky.

I know the stock screw is plastic, but could you get a regular machine screw that fits the threads and put a dab of silicone on the end to buffer against the vise arm? Might be worth a try.

Or, superglue a small round nylon disk to the end of the bolt. If it doesn't hold, it won't matter since the disk will stay in place anyway as long as the bolt is never removed.Evan wrote:I know the stock screw is plastic, but could you get a regular machine screw that fits the threads and put a dab of silicone on the end to buffer against the vise arm?
