I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a home made leaning post for my yak or where i can look for some ideas?

Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I would think you could use flush mount rod holders for the bases or, so you don't have to cut big holes, a Scotty rod holder. Drill through the rod holder and PVC and then insert a pin to hold it in place.
