Hells Bay Canoe Trail
I am planning a trip with some friends, and we are considering getting into the backcountry via the Hells Bay Canoe Trail. I'm hoping that Vivian, Rolando, Krash, etc. may have some info. What is the parking situation at the trailhead? Can we leave our vehicles there for multiple nights? Does it have water on a low tide? Is it possible to get a longer boat through there (16 ft canoe)? Is the water still salt there, or is it brackish/fresh? Anything else I need to know? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, take a camera with a BIG storage card.ChrisR wrote: Anything else I need to know?
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

You will be parking on the park road. People leave their cars there all the time. You will be fine with a 16 ft canoe as long as you know how to handle it. Water is brackish and water levels will be fine.
Bring lots of bug spray, fresh water and a GOOD GPS. Do NOT stray from the marked trail.
