I am pretty sure that's a Weakfish, guy is dressed for this time of year in NJ.......Background may be Photo shopped to look like the "goon"
The difference between the spotted Weakfish(Ours) and the Weakfish is the scales on the dorsal fin and tail fin, that fish is the size of a northern weak and it looks like it has the scales on the dorsal fin.......just my 2 cents but I have caught many Weakfish.........PS just as taste as our version

They guy is also holding the fish way out from his body...I don't think it is as big as it looks.

Reported to be 40" and it was March 2009 from what I heard.

I say Photoshop. Look at the size of the guys fingers (holding the fish) in relation to his body.
