This is an important issue to all recreational fishermen.
Read about the issue here, this page has a link to the Interim Report. A big problem is the fact that the Task Force (thus far), makes no distinction between commercial and recreational fishing.

The Task Force is taking public comment until Oct. 30. This is the link for the Whitehouse Task Force where you can leave your comment,

As I understand it, much of the Task Force recommendations will likely be similar to what the State of California has done, i.e. closing off many coastal fisheries, prohibiting the use of lead weights, etc.
