Rod No. 1 Specs: St. Croix SCV, Recoil guides, Aero reel seat, custom split grip handle, metal winding checks, Tiger stripe wrapping, and abalone trim. The pictures don't do justice for the tiger wrap.

Are you going to drop them off or do I need to come by and pick them up?
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

Beautiful rods Noles, what's the scoop on the recoil guides? ...pro's & con's?

Personal preference, I don't like them! I will always go with the Fuji titanium with SiC inserts before using Recoil. The client wanted to use the Recoils because they were salvaged from another rod.

There is a difference between scholarship money and student loans; thankfully, I was fortunate enough to owe 0 dollars and 0 cents when I graduated

The rod #2 was very much worth the wait. Noles' creations are impressive to look at, but wow what a major fishing tool he has come up with. Picked up the rod yesterday and added a Daiwa Tierra 2000. I finally found a little time to do a test run at a nearby lake late this afternoon with a 12 Fathom Slam R. I have some decent rods, but this one is exceptional and assists my distance and placements. Even started off on the right foot with 3 decent bass in about 30 mins. Can't wait to hit the flats with this one. Hats off to Noles. Rhumm
