I have a question- Does the snook/red combo beat the red/trout combo in the event of no slam caught? In other words, if I have the only snook in my 2/3, am I going to win if no one else catches a snook (no matter the size of everyone else's red/trout)? Just wondering if one species is more important than any of the others.

Wouldn't it just be based on over-all length in a case like that?

So I'm still not sure. Is it based on overall length, no matter what the 2 fish? Or as Todd said does snook>redfish>trout mean as long as I'm the only one to catch a snook, no matter how small my 2/3rds, does it beat everyone else who doesn't have a snook?
I think the rule change is great, too. I was just making sure that any one species isn't more important than the other two in the event no slam is caught. I got it now.
Does the ban of Berkley Gulp products apply to all Gulp products including their freshwater plastics? I use their freshwater sand worm with pretty good success on Reds and Snook.

I see no mention of scent attractants such as Pro-Cure or Carolina Lunker sauce. I guess they are allowed?
