1st Annual JayB Memorial Paddle-In
This sounds great and I have been looking for an opportunity to meet more of this group. But...timing, timing, timing. I will be up in NY on Cayuga Lake at that time. Maybe I can send you a picture of a nice bass. Rats!
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

I'll be there, maybe someone can let me tag along on the water? Was hoping to avoid massive failure like last FDP venture.

It will be an honor to attend.
Being a new comer in paddle fishing just last year I never got the opportunity to meet JayB. Just hearing some of the wonderful things he has done to touch so many is awesome. My wife and I will be honored to attend in his name, look forward to meeting as many of you as possible.
The song has been sung...... on this day we proudly band together and paddle as one.

Planning for a Paddle-In is important to the degree that we provide 1) The Date and location (map is optional) 2) Suggestion to bring food and beverages to share. (Good food and quality beverages preferred. Plates are optional.)

A paddle in requires nothing except for your attendance. No planning, no official "you bring this, I will bring that" thread, no secret handshake required, no nothing. Bring what you want or bring nothing. It is totally up to you but no planning is necessary.Todd wrote:The beauty of a paddle-in is that there is no planning.
I know this may be hard for some to just show up without some official duties to accomplish but that is the nice thing about a paddle in. Just show up, if you want to bring 18 chairs, four grills and 78 hamburgers that is great, if you want to bring one bottle of water that is great also.
The only thing asked of anyone is to just show up, pretty easy.

Sorry Fin, the welcome package started well after you became a member. If you'd like, I can cancel your account and you can re-register. Of course, your post count would go to zero making you subject to all of the new initiation rites. Plus, when you take away your post count, your assumed knowledge will also disappear.
Not that anyone considers you very knowledgeable anyway but I just want to be clear on the ramifications.

So, basically what you are saying is my lack of knowledge is assumed from you and everyone else.Rik wrote:your assumed knowledge will also disappear.
