TIE IN

Post by John »

Okay, so we all know paddle-in's are so last year, but how about a tie-in.

We gather up our stuff, meet somewhere, a park or a bar, for example and we sit around and tie some flies, maybe drink a few beer hell we could even cook out.

We could pick a couple of recipes that we know others tie that we'd like to learn and vise-versa.

I reckon it would be a very pleasant way to spend an aftenoon.

 Maybe a waterfront park and the creations could be tried as soon as the head cement dries.

I'm with mauso1 on this one. I wouldn't mind doing a Tie-In but ..... I see the Doctor Thursday to see if the pneumonia in my right lung has cleared up.

Two Saturdays ago, it was diagnosed as acute bronchitis. Didn't get any better for a whole week. Diagnosed as pneumonia after a chest Xray this past Saturday.

Feeling somewhat better, mainly fatigued, so I'll need a little time to get well myself.

No, the next Fish-In is at your place. We're all bringing our canoes, push-poles and fly rods and hanging out with you for the weekend chasing bonz. You tie up a bunch of Dreads and trade them for beers! ha!!!

Can we pick a windy day? I'll bring the video camera to catch all the action of a bunch of guys with a beer in one hand and a net in the other as they desperately try to scoop up feathers and fur floating away.

I'd show up. Let me know when and where.

No rush guys, I'm pretty tied up thru till March.

But good to see there's some interest.

Maybe we could meet half way to Miami, Naples or somewhere.

We got time to thrash out the details.

I'm not good at tying but I wouldn't mind watching some seasoned fly tiers. It all depends on when and where.
