That first crick shot is absolutely KILLER !! Do you have any idea how hard that shot would be to get if you were trying to photo crocks...
have it enlarged and frame it !!

I may have to travel down there just to photo crocks. I had no idea they were in areas other than the power plants.

Hey thanks! That's the first time I've ever seen a croc while kayaking, didn't know what to expect. Do they normally spook? I was able to get as close as I wanted but the hissing and those teeth kept me from getting too close :o

Great photos, thats crocodile rock.. hes there all the time, kind of used to yaker's although ya can't get to close. Its like inches deep there so you don't want to be in his escape path.

Now that's a saltwater croc verses the ones I see in fresh @ Myakka park & the like, alligators, correct?

We got all three kinds down here, not sure they know the difference in the type of water. Aligators & Crocodiles in fresh, salt, and brackish water.

We have only 1 genus Crocodile in Florida, they inhabit both salt brackish and freshwater.
The population in florida is oly estimated to be 400-500, that shot is truly special! NatGEO worthy for sure!
