Famed casting instructor Mel Krieger died peacefully at his home early this morning after recently being diagnosed with brain lymphoma, according to his wife.

I had the privilege of hearing Mel speak and he was good people. Very sad news indeed.

I have heard his casting clinics were great, even experienced casters walked away with stuff to work on.
