It has been a while since I've been on here. Since that time I've only built a few rod. Things got a little tough for ol Yohan. I recently joined the multitudes of the unemloyed. It's been 2 weeks and counting. Anyway,I had the oportunity to do another "Gator" rod so here it is. This is also a 4wt SCII blank.

See Noles, they all on my nuts! loldunfly wrote:Nice to see you back Yohan. To bad you had to show up with such an ugly rod .
I like the wrap on the reel seat nut. Nice touch.
Just kidding! Skinnywater, I wraped the the reelseat nut with thread VERY tighly. The Nut has that texture to it so I had to make sure the wraps were as close together as humanly possible. I'm glad it turned out O.K.
Dunfly, I've been working in Commercial Architecture for about 8-9 years. Alot of simple bread and butter buildings that would never make it onto the cover of a magazine at the local book store. I take that back... I have worked on a few high profile projects. Here is one.

If you know it, you'll see my name in the list of KZF employees. It's not my job to make the buildings pretty, just to make them WORK. I do construction details and stuff like that.
