4wt MINE MINE MINE!

Post by yohan1973 »

OK, this is an 8'6" fly rod built on a 4pc 4wt RX8 blank. Not much to it; I used single foot black guides with black wraps and single foot stripper guides. Let me tell you about the thread. I was looking for white silk but couldn't find it. However, I did find some really light gray silk thread. So I used it thinking it would still be somewhat transparent. WRONG! It turned black! Ohwell...I have yet to fish with it. Bummer!!!!!!!!

Are you shipping it UPS or do I have to come pick it up?

And across from the bar there's a pile of beer cans
Been there twenty-seven years
Imagine all the heart aches and tears
In twenty-seven years of beer

Scott,
You can get it from Mudhole or most fly tying shops.

Rik, you'll have to come pick it up. I just moved to this wonderful community called Pine hills. Call me, I'll give you directions.

I only use tru-oil on bamboo burl. On all other corks I use U-40.
