I have to admit, most of the rigging goes to Dirty Dave, so here is my boat.
First the front half;
A Scotty Fly Rod Holder makes it much easier to place & retrieve the rod, below the rod is a loop of shock cord where I clip the VHF radio and secure my pliers. The shock cord running above the rudder controls is a "grab area" that Dave used with his clients; I use it to attach the paddle leash, carabineer on the lip gripper & to tie off my anchor line.
Second is the aft;
I have two recessed rod holders to keep the anchor & lip gripper in place, two Scotty's for the rods, I really like this setup due to how easy it is reach/replace everything, next is the Wally World "laundry" crate, it fits nicely in the tank and with the added "holders" my knife, law stick, and night light have a home.
The middle anchor for the tank rigging is a half clip, in lieu of the stock thru eye so I can strap the crate in. In the rear of the tank well is a $5 Wal-Mart cooler fits nicely to keep beverages cold. The final touch is the rudder, factory installed; I will never own a kayak without one again.
Thanks for looking!

I love the rudder and I don't think I will ever own another boat without one. It makes life so much easier, especially while on a drift, you can correct your angle and never have to touch the paddle.Trootin wrote:How do you like that rudder?
And it works great when you have to paddle into the wind, no more weather cocking.

Just got a redfish 14 myself and have only very basic rigging so far, anchor trolley, and scotty mount rod holder (forward center) same as yours. Was considering the flush mount rod holders aft for my fish grip and anchor as well as the additional scotty's also aft. You have sold me on that set up, thanks for that. Wondering though about one other thing. Paddle holder??? Did you put one on and if so how and where?? Thanks.
The grass may be greener on the other side, but you still have to mow it.....

I'm glad I could help! The paddle holder is just shock cord with a "J" hook. Here is a picture.

Unfortunately, I am not sure exactly how it is done. It was there when I bought the boat.linesider75 wrote:Great, looks good, thanks. I was hoping you would include a photo. Looks like you backed out the factory screws there in order to secure the shock chord??
