Anyone been fishing Port St. Joe the last week?

Post by LivelyBaits »

My Dad's there the next two or three days.

I just thought I'd see if anyone has a field report for that area for me.

Neil haven't been up there and Peter (bearsfan) sold out and is now on the east coast. I'll see if I can get some info for you. Mrs. snookfinatic and I were thinking of staying up at the cabins at St. Joe's park reel soon!
I love that place!

I'd like to meet you guys there sometime Jeff. I saw gas for a buck ninety-nine today. That will make those "one tank" trips more appealing. I love that area. Hate to see all the construction... Ah well.

Anyone fish this area lately? No one from the family made it through there this summer.

I wish I could have taken a few days to go up there and fish the mouth of that canal for a couple of days.

AHHHHH St. George.
Neil,
Have not made it that far since I moved. I was thinking of going up to St. Marks which is just as good but, not as far.
Let's go!

Give me about two weeks and I'll try to clear up a little time to go. By then, I'll probably have to dig out a jacket to take along

Snukfuker. I am back in Tally.

Neil, bad news. Red tide has hit pretty strong over there.

My brother was at St Joe this last weekend. He said that there were signs of activity there with feeding fish but the shores were littered with decaying fish. They didn't try to fish it because it stunk so bad there.

You would think they would be used to it if they ever fished with you.

Well that's not very nice. I do not have an aroma. Well definitely not one like red tide.
