Lake Windermere.

So I have not been out in my yak for a while, mainly due to the hot weather causing outbreaks of blue algae in the lakes.

A couple of friends had arranged to do some camping on the shores of Windermere so I went up for a days fishing and to checkout the new “big gameâ€
I'm not here to be liked. I do this for the good of the paddle-fishing community.

I hope blue algae is not as bad as red tide! Great report Ray, makes me homesick for pike fishin' up north.

really wonderful shots there Ray! I loved scrolling down from the tight narrow creek to the pic that opened up....gave me chills. Sweet.....

too bad there are no beautiful rolling foot hills or any other things to distract you while paddling about, great pictures and report, thank you

no, not as bad as red tide but still pretty nasty stuff.

yup, a good strong cup of tea is pretty hard to beat.

Beautiful pics, If there were redfish tails in them Id consider it a vacation spot.
