Caught this with a very yellow, very ripe banana in the cooler. Go ahead Johnster. Rename the boat! Tradition be damned.

The fishing gods are not that straight forward..there is no quid-pro-quo. They lure you into thinking that everything is just a myth, that your immune to their wrath..and then...WHAMO!

No wonder I didn't catch any big ones today --- I followed the wrong person.
Beautiful fish, Dave. Now I'm not going to bother to post the photo of my puny 14.256666 inch fish.
ps --- No one bothered to tell me about the banana thing until about a month ago. Bananas, beer, and fish ---- they go together well.

Yep, that sure is a red boat.

Stellar!!! Since you had a banana on board, I think you get handicap points that would take that fish to 40". Of course I could be wrong, but it seems fair to me.

That is a nice looking red Dave
I haven't seen one of those in a while, and I would rather catch one of those than the many little ones I got yesterday (11" trout, 13.5 " red, 21.5" snook)
