Abacos + Bonefish = paradise

Post by TerryW »

It doesn't get much better than this --- tropical breezes, gin-clear water, cold Kalik, and schools of tailing bonefish. Woohoo!

Since we were showing my son and girlfriend around Green Turtle Cay, I didn't get as much fishing in as I would have liked. I managed to lose a couple, including one to a 5 foot shark. I did boat six in the 4 to 6 lb. range. :D

This one was a single cruising along in an area where they were very spooked and just were not interested in my shrimp. I guess this guy was just too hungry.

I finally found Cow Creek. It's at the end of the Road to Nowhere!

Nice Terry, I went there for a week in July and stayed at Abaco Inn not far from you. Unfortunatly the wind never quit blowing and the guides wouldnt leave shore.
