Where do you keep the revolver with the hollow points?
That particular gun has never been on the kayak. It's brand new. I'd have Robar put his NP3 treatment on it first. As is it would rust up pretty fast. A dry bag or even a cross draw holster would work for the yak (After NP3 treatment)...I'm more concerned about the launch area then the water. I had it in the pic for size comparison to the light...but P13 come to think of it may never have seen or handled a firearm. It is small for a gun that will shoot clean thru the hull of a large boat (with the .45Long Colt cylinder) a pirate would have just as hard a time finding cover as I would in the yak if ever we exchanged fire.

That will certainly drill a neat hole in a kayak.
Sounds like it might be handy to have around Joe Island, with the dogs around there ;)

For your ballcap, this is one tiny but very good light. It isn't any bigger than the average man's thumb.

Little "clip ring" snaps off and then you attach the "ball cap" clip.

Another thought for your measuring board is use a vertical window blind blade.
Cut to 40" and stick your measuring decal to it or mark the numbers on.
It will roll up and fit in the little hatch in front of you or the drink holder.
