Cubs,

That one you all guessed at 500# could very well be. I don't know the exact length of the one my neighbor caught but the kid in the pic that caught it was six foot tall. The fish's head was above this kid and at least a foot of the tail was on the ground. Tipped the scale at 450#.

Man I'd be pissed if I hired you to take me shark fishing and all I caught was a FIVE HUNDRED POUND GROUPER..... :D

Fricken amazing!

Guess you have a couple of new pics for the photo gallery!

Judging from the size of those bohemoths and the number you guys pulled in, there should be enough slime on that beach to turn it into a skating rink
Great pics Cubs as usual

I guess I'll be the bad guy, but I find it a little disconcerting to see protected species being beached like that.

The rule is John that it is OK to haul fish on the sand like that as long as they aren't particularly attractive.
Young jewfish are colorful so they must be treated with care. Once they become unicolor it's OK. Ugly fish have a thicker slim coat that doesn't rub off in the sand.

They need to be wearing sunglasses to protect them from the flash as well.
