Lock your stuff!

Kayaks - and all of the gear we haul around - are virtually untraceable when they are stolen. Rarely are they ever recovered. Your best defense is to lock up your boat even during that quick stop at the 7-11 to buy ice. Two guys can make your boat disappear within 60 seconds.

Here's a good buy on a vinyl coated steel cable. 30 foot long for $11.98.

The site is The Clymb. You have to register (its free) and they have some darn good deals on outdoor stuff.

And if they can't steal you fishing stuff they will steal your gas. Right Rik?
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

Yep and there's a locking device for that too (but not on Clymb unfortunately)
