Millers Ale House pulled out of PTTS

Post by DaveR »

Good old Joe's sponsors are folding like a shirt at a Chinese laundry. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

That is definitely a step in the right direction.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.

While I dont condone the tournament, they did make it a "most releases" deal. Sort of surprised to see the sponsors fold like they did, even though they changed the format. I think the best thing to come out of all of this, is the FWC doing away with the "Kill Tags". I didnt like the idea of them dragging those tarpon in for a live weigh-in, all they were doing was drowning those things.

Good riddance it was loud, competitive, brash, crowded, and inconsiderate to the fish and other guys suing the same water, the antipathy of my idea of fishing.

Lets hope they don't re-locate that shit to Egmont Key

Apparently they are not the only one. Some big names on this list.

They'll relocate it to wherever they can find sponsors to fill their wallet. Letting the sponsors know that you don't approve and will redirect your cash away from sponsors will close out any relocation

I saw the program only a couple of times and it stunk. It was total unsportsmanlike, and didn't give Florida fishermen a very good name. IMO... Good riddance. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
