PFCS #2 - Note about angler limit

Post by Rik »

PFCS #2, scheduled for this Saturday Oct 27, has been rescheduled to Nov 17.

Once we hit the 65 angler limit anyone else signing up will be on a waiting list. As has happened in the past, some folks will drop out. Things come up, that's life. We'll go thru the waiting list on a first in basis. So sign up even after we hit 65 and you may still get in.

Now, for those on the list. If you will not be able to make it, please speak up as soon as you know so someone else can take the spot.

Whats the OFCS?

I have already told one angler he can gladly have my spot if it comes down to that. I'll have a lot to do, and I'm not sure I can be on the water that long anyway.

So hurry up and sign in. You Dont Want To Miss This One

If the threat of going over the limit is preventing some new folks from fishing in this event I will take a sideline seat with Bill if need be. If you ever thought about a paddle-fishing.com tournament this is a good one. The list of prizes/stuff that has been gathered to give away is impressive. I don't see how anyone will go home empty handed.

And, it all goes to a great Cause. Mark "Cooknfish" would have loved to see all these folks fishing in waters he liked to call home.

Same here Bill, I have no problem giving up my spot if a newbie is on the waiting list. Would be great for a new participant to experience this funfilled tournament.
Let me know....

Same here Bill. I was a newbie once and still remember my first PFTS event. After that I was hooked. In or out of the 65 still bringing the dollar bills for the “Cooknfish Memorial Fund”.
I just love to fish and hang with some good folk  .

I too am willing to give up my spot for a newbie if need be...I can still just fish for the sake of fishing and enjoy the day and the company

How about this - and I'd gladly do this - give up your spot to a newbie and go fish with that newbie on tourney day.

I'm a newbie, both to the tournaments and Weedon (I did go last Saturday, but the winds kept me close to the kayak launch in the park), and that would be really helpful. I don't want anybody's secret spots or anything, but just having a clue on where to go would be great.

Gents - I will gladly give up my spot and either work the event with Bill or fish with a new guy to the area. Let me know.
