Well thats what I'm trying to figure out. From my count, there are 18 names I havent seen at tournaments before. But you cant go by post count alone, someone with a low post count may be a tournament angler somewhere else.

Its a serious question with potential $$$$ riding on the answer. I think a small side tournament for newbies would be a nice way to welcome them.

Just trying to think outside the box.

This is only my 2nd paddle-fishing.com tournament as a participant. Do I qualify?

I've only fished one kayak tournament before, but never with you guys. Looking forward to getting out of Southshore and meeting some new people. Hopefully I can make it up there in the next few days to familiarize myself with the area so I won't be completely lost that morning.

I'm hoping Todd left some PFCS mojo on my Commander so I'll at least have a pic to turn in!

For MartynD and I, it will be our first time fishing Florida (or any salt water south of Jersey for that matter), and his first time fishing from a kayak. Can't wait (belive I've said that before ...maybe twice :) )

so we are newbs of the worst kind, 'tourist newbs'

Tourist noobs ........ From Jersey (which means you have thick hide) ........ This could be fun.
Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

Actualy tourist newbs from the Kingdom of Canadia, the only reason I mention Jersey is it's the only salt I've ever fished :)

Count me in as a newbie, I am trying to get my fiance to sign up too (she is also a newbie although she manages to outfish me 96% of the time so my $ is on her)

Assuming I can get Wonderboy to commit (and myself for that matter) it will be his second.
