No offence taken I just wanted to know when my light was going to fall apart. I agree with it eating batteries.

Walmart sells little led lanterns (in sporting goods by camping) for $3-5 depending on if there on sale or not. I epoxied one of these to my rocket launcher/rod holder, works great and seem to hold up pretty well for being so cheap, I replace the top part about every 6 months to a year and leave the bottom glued on.

I use the VisiCarbon Pro light from YakAttack. Its 4' tall and exceeds coast guard requirments for Day or Night use.
