Hello from Bradenton!

Post by FLFF478 »

Hi folks! Brand new member here checking in from the Bradenton area... I finally made my first kayak purchase (a Perception Sport Pescador 12.0) a couple of weeks ago and have become totally addicted to the sport. I grew up bass fishing on the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York and since moving to FLA I have been trying to learn as much as I can about the saltwater side of things. Doing it from a kayak is something that I am totally digging and is something that I can see myself doing for many years to come. I look forward to learning a lot from the wealth of information and people on this forum. See ya 'round the boards!

Welcome aboard from another upstate NY transplant. Before becoming a full time FL resident I used to have a cottage on the north end of Cayuga lake. I have been at this saltwater kayak fishing for about 5 years now. You will find this website a great resource and a great group of people.
Being out on the water in the kayak is the prize. Catching fish is the bonus.
