That's exactly why I'm glad I fish the salt water too!

Also, I can' t believe he went back out there again, at night and with the bait. I mean the dog!

There are two young guys, Austin and Blake, that take their little pug dog Manneaux with them on Swamp People every time they go out hunting. I take my little dog fishing all the time but I don't think I'd take him alligator hunting.

Gators love dogs.. many a small dog has been taken by gator walking near the shoreline. and down here in SE area there are just as many gators in salt water as fresh water, not to mention we also have salt water croc's here too.

Well I definitely won't be wading when I venture to the other coast.

I have come across a few huge testy gators inside Cockroach Bay on more than one occasion......

Check out the Youtube version. A lot more 'exciting' than the news, and you can actually see how close the gator was to coming in the kayak.... Gotti vs Gator.

The more I see that the more I think that gator might have been going after the dog. Had he wanted the guy, he had him easy.

That's exactly what that gator was after I believe. The gator was more than likely watching him for some time. I'm sure the dog may have been barking or crying, you know what little dogs do. For all we know that guy may have also held the dog outside of the kayak and got his feet wet to see his reaction to the water.
