A Few Recent Trips

Now that the summer is over, I actually have time to fish some. I made it out several times on the Big Bend over the past couple weeks, and to sum things up, the fishing royally sucked. I managed a couple low slot reds and a small snook one day way up in fresh water on the trusty Skitterwalk Jr. On another day, I fished like crazy around CK for reds in many of my traditionally good spots and came away with only a bull shark. Finally, I switched gears and headed up to Georgia to fish the flood tides. Dad and I explored some new territory and actually had pretty good success, boating a half dozen reds between 6-11 lbs. Most of those fish ate an Aquadream gold spoon (great lure BTW...thanks Dave).
