My Hobie Pro Angler Trailer I made

Post by size matters »

Well here is the short story. A single hobie trailer was 1000 dollars and out of the question. I bought this one and it needed severe repairs. it is a single waverunner trailer. bunks were bad, springs were bad, hubs bad, lights and wiring bad and tongue run over by forklift a foot up.

I repaired tongue to new condition, installed new springs, hubs, bearings and lights. I then made new bunks for the one side by using new wood, carpet and staples. On the other side it required two cradle mounts from hobie. I made a pressure treated mounting system for the cradles and put various I-bolts on the trailer for tie down purposes. all in all it came out awesome. I now have a trailer for me and if someone else wants to meet up they can put there kayak on as well. Road trips here I come.lol hope you like. oh and I had to get it weighed to register it because there was no vin or registration. this was very easy though.

You think this is bad, you should see him go on a rant when drinking a beer without holding your pinkie in the air.

it paddles horribly but the pedal drive system is awesome. This kayak great for big dudes or people that love a lot of gear and stability. I do not have the greatest balance so this one works for me standing up.
