Ice Cream and Fishing...

Post by Redman0421 »

They go together very nicely.

Took a trip down to a Sarasota beach yesterday. I really wasn't expecting anything to happen, since in the past the fish have had lock jaw, but nature is full of surprises. Using my new favorite arti's, I made two casts and came up with two ladyfish. Whatever. I made two more casts and caught two slot trout, the second was extremely fat, I couldn't even fit my hand around him. The bite turned off for a while, and then low and behold a nice sheepshead. I wish the night would've went on like this, but the bite was limited to ladyfish when it got really dark. Oh well, unexpected fun on an unexpected night is always a good thing.

I took a high school buddy out there Thurs. He had never even seen a sea trout and caught 2 nice ones with one in the 20s. Also caught lady's, jack, and snook.

Over every mountain there is a path, although it may not be seen from the valley

Oh yeah, best stuff on earth. Got a pound, way over-priced, but worth it.
